Rosalia

Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is the Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. Since she was a teenager, she's embraced the edges of both classical and pop music. She also explores genres including hip-hop, trap and soul. Her voice is said by no less talented than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet and with a bite that is similar to older versions. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually getting an Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She collaborated with many producers and artists including Cory Henry. This set was released the month of March 2022, following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. Motomami, Rosalia's album that has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to have an award for Latin Album of the Year win twice.
